Who a trade account suits
If you order printed fabric more than once, need reliable turnaround, or work with clients who expect the same colour and finish every time, a trade account is the right fit. We support interior decorators, fashion labels, events teams, signage makers, upholsterers and small brands that need fabric by the metre or in batch quantities.
Based in Ndabeni, Cape Town, we work with clients in Woodstock, Salt River, Observatory, Montague Gardens and Century City, as well as courier deliveries nationwide. That helps when a job needs quick approval, a repeat run, or a replacement roll sent out without delay.
- Custom curtains and home décor fabric
- Flags, display fabric and event runs
- Upholstery and commercial fabric orders
- Fashion fabric by the metre
- Small batch or bulk print runs
How to place a trade order
The process is simple. Send your artwork, fabric choice, required metres and any finishing notes through our contact form. If you are not sure about fabric type or print layout, we will help you work through the options before production starts. It saves time and avoids costly reprints later on.
For repeat work, keep your order reference, artwork version and colour notes on file. That makes reordering much easier, especially when you need the same print for a new job, a replacement batch, or a larger run after client approval.
- Send print files in the correct format
- Confirm metres, widths and finish required
- Ask for colour matching where needed
- Approve a strike-off sample if the job is sensitive
- Book production and courier once confirmed
File checking and repeat pattern setup
Good print results start with proper artwork. We check files for repeat setup, size, bleed, resolution and layout before anything goes onto fabric. If a pattern needs matching across widths or a seam line must land a certain way, we flag that early so the final result works on the garment or installation.
Many clients send artwork that looks fine on screen but breaks up once repeated over several metres. Our file checking helps prevent that. It is especially useful for curtains, upholstery panels and branded fabric where the repeat has to line up cleanly. A small issue caught early is far cheaper than fixing a full reprint later.
Sampling, colour matching and approval
When colour matters, ask for a strike-off sample before the full run. This is the practical way to check tone, scale and fabric hand feel before you commit to the full quantity. It is useful for interiors, fashion, hospitality and any order that must match an existing colour standard or client brief.
We also help with colour matching for repeat customers who need consistency across different batches. South African light, humidity near the coast and fabric choice can all affect the final look, so testing matters. If you are working to a brand colour or a room scheme, rather test once than regret it later.
- Confirm colour before full production
- Check scale and repeat length
- Review print on the actual fabric base
- Approve before bulk printing starts
Bulk runs, small batches and finishing
Some trade clients need ten metres, others need hundreds. We handle both small batch printing and bulk print runs, with finishing options that suit the end use. That can include hemming, edge finishing and packing ready for dispatch. If the fabric is going straight into curtains, cushions or display work, we can prepare it for easier handover to your own team or client.
For production planning, let us know your deadline and whether the order is for a home project, retail stock or a commercial fit-out. In Cape Town load shedding and courier cut-off times can affect the schedule, so early approval always helps. We would rather plan the job properly than rush and miss the window.
- Small batches for sample ranges or test launches
- Bulk print runs for regular stock
- Hemming and finishing for ready-to-use fabric
- Packing and courier for nationwide delivery
Keeping repeat business easy
Trade accounts work best when the admin stays light. Once your artwork, fabric choice and notes are set, repeat orders become much faster. Many clients keep a simple order history with metre counts, colour references and finish details so the next job can move straight into production without back-and-forth.
If your customer changes the brief mid-way, send the update before printing starts. A quick message is enough to keep everyone aligned and avoid waste. For recurring orders in Ndabeni, Woodstock, Salt River or further afield, that level of order keeps the whole process moving properly.
For account support or a quote, send a message through our contact form and include your required metres, delivery town and any special finishing notes.
