Printed fabric for homes, trade and everyday use
We print fabrics for curtains, scatter cushions, upholstery, retail displays, flags, and fabric by the metre. If you need a small run for a home project or a larger order for a shop, school, event or brand rollout, we can help with the print, the finishing and the packing. Our work is handled in Cape Town and sent out to clients in Durban, Johannesburg, Gqeberha, Pretoria and everywhere else in South Africa.
Clients often come to us with a simple idea, a reference image or a full design file. We help turn that into fabric that suits the use case, whether that means a softer finish for window coverings, tighter colour control for a corporate project, or stronger cloth for upholstery. We also work with clients who need repeat pattern setup and clean file checks before anything goes to print.
- Custom curtains and soft furnishings

Who we print for across South Africa
Fabric Printers Studio serves private clients, decorators, clothing makers, sign and display teams, retailers and businesses that need consistent fabric output. We are based in Ndabeni, which makes us practical for Cape Town clients in Woodstock, Salt River, Observatory, Montague Gardens and Century City who want to collect or talk through a job in person.
We also courier fabric nationwide, so distance does not need to slow a project down. Coastal humidity, office air conditioning and sunlight all affect how fabric performs and we take those details seriously when advising on the right cloth and finish. Some clients need something neat for a home in the southern suburbs, while others need repeated supply for a chain store or a weekend market. We handle both.

How we handle each print job from file to finish
Our process is straightforward. First we check the artwork, repeat and sizing. Then we confirm fabric choice, colour expectations and the quantity needed. If a sample is required, we can produce a strike-off before the main run. That helps avoid costly surprises, especially when a design has fine detail, large repeats or exact brand colours.
Once the job is approved, our production team prepares the run, prints the fabric and checks the result before moving on to hemming, finishing, packing and courier. For larger orders, we plan around lead times and dispatch dates so clients know what is happening and when. With load-shedding still affecting many workdays, good planning matters and it keeps projects moving.
- File checking and artwork review
- Repeat pattern setup
- Colour matching and sampling
- Fabric sourcing if needed
- Hemming, finishing and packing
- Courier arrangement after dispatch
